Para cambiar el número de puerto UDP para el servicio SNMP en sistemas Windows, debe editar el archivo Servicios en la carpeta %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC (generalmente c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc).
Seguidamente, debe abrir el archivo en un editor de texto y luego cambie el número de puerto del valor predeterminado 161 al valor deseado en la siguiente línea.
snmp 161/udp #SNMP
Así mismo, guarde el archivo y reinicie el servicio SNMP en el subprograma de servicios del panel de control.
