En muchos casos, tendremos sitios web administrados en Webmin, los cuales necesitan respaldarse si fuese el caso de realizar una actualización por ejemplo, hay una manera de realizar el respaldo de la base de datos del sitio web que necesitemos directamente desde el Webmin, en este artículo, se verán los pasos que debe de seguir para poder realizar dicho respaldo.

Lo primero que debemos de hacer, es ingresar a la interfaz web de nuestro webmin con nuestras credenciales ya configuradas.
Ya que ingresemos, vamos a buscar el dominio del sitio web que deseamos respaldar en el panel de la izquierda.
Cuando lo tengamos localizado, vamos a dirigirnos a la sección de Edit Databases.
En databases, veremos la base de datos que tendremos ya en nuestro sitio web, buscaremos en la parte de la derecha donde dice Manage.
Ahora, acá nos vamos a dirigir a la opción que dice Backup Database.
Se nos mostrará un menú en en el que podemos seleccionar si queremos descargar el respaldo directamente, o bien que se guarde en alguna carpeta del servidor, eso quedará a su elección.
Por último, en la parte inferior, deberá presionar el botón Save para ejecutar el respaldo.
Conclusión
Siguiendo estos pasos tendrá listo su respaldo de la base de datos del sitio web que necesita y podrá trabaja con el sin el riesgo de llegar a afectar en algo.
